After upgrading to Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 a Java error window keeps popping up with a message that reads as: “To view this web content you need to install the Java Runtime Environment.”
Although it has already been installed and running at the latest version.
(in french would be:
"Pour afficher ce contenu web installer l'environnement java runtime environment")
The "More Info" directs us to Oracle but it should be linking to the Apple version of Java for OS X.
The fix for this Java Runtime Environment error window that keeps popping up for no reason is simply installing the official Apple version of Java for OS X from the link below.

Google Chrome error: Your profile could not be opened correctly. Resolved
Resolved, quick fix. I was using Windows 7 the other day and ran into a Google Chrome error saying "error: Your profile could not be open correctly"
How annoying... This is how i fixed the Google Chrome user profile error.
- Close Chrome
- In Windows Explorer enter the following in the address bar depending on the version of Microsoft Windows you use.
- Windows XP:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
- Windows Vista/ Windows 7/ Windows 8:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
- Windows XP:
- Rename the folder named "Default" to "Backup default."
- Open Chrome. It will then create a new "Default" folder automatically.
It worked for me! let me know about you?
